From a small beginning in some 20 years ago as Edison Engineers, the business rebranded in 2003 to Edison Services which involves in service and maintenance of electrical motors, switch gear, transformers, etc.

Founder and Director
The Director of Edison Services is Mr. Jayanta Sankar Dasgupta. A well known name in Indian Electric Motor Industry. With more than 40 years of experience in the field of Electrical Service Industry, he is often requested to attend the most critical problems regarding Electrical Motors in India.
He is an ex-employee of NGEF(AEG), LINDE, Jackson International(Cummins), Tata Steel- JSR & Hitachi.
He has worked in many countries attending to erection, commissioning and overhauling of critical motors.

“MAN Turbine has supplied some Turbo Generator package to Bangladesh. At Bogura one of their 4500 KVA, 11 Kv, WEG make Alternator has developed Rotor fault. They planned to dismantle one Alternator from their spare healthy T-G set at Chittagong and to supply at Bogura. At Bogura the faulty Alternator to be taken out from Turbine and to install the healthy Alternator with accessories & ABB make AVR at this place, and after alignment with turbine re- commissioning the Alternator at Bagura power plant. For this entire job MAN has given order to our Edison Services India. Edison services has a branch at Bangladesh – ” Edison Services-BD” at Dhaka.
